Katie Fagan joined Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP in 2008. She is originally from Henry County, Georgia and graduated from Stockbridge High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Applied Science in Administrative Management from Clayton College and State University in 2005, she graduated cum laude from the Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2008. Katie received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Writing, as well as in Wills and Intestate Succession, and earned a Legal Writing Certificate while at Mercer.
Mrs. Fagan began interning for Smith, Welch & Brittain in the summer of 2006. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Henry County Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and also coaches for the Eagle’s Landing High School Mock Trial team. Katie practices in the McDonough, Georgia office, and her practice areas include Family Law and Estate Planning.
Mrs. Fagan lives in McDonough with her husband, Ian. In her spare time, Katie enjoys playing tennis and reading.
